​​Where it all begins …

​The magic happens in my studio where I begin by cutting and shaping the sheets of glass.

Then I’ll add colours and textures to the layers until I’m happy with the piece.

Unfortunately the glass at this stage doesn’t look like it will when its been fired so I rely on experience and judgement. (and a little luck!)

Although I have designs I follow and repeat, every piece ends up unique.

I’ll then carefully load the kiln and fire the peices for the first time.
