Frequently Asked Questions

Delivery Times

I usually get parcels in the post within 3 working days. I only use Royal Mail and normal orders are posted First Class, scanned on delivery.

Although First Class is supposed to be next day it can sometimes take a little longer.

I always send an acknowledgement of order and then a notification to say your order has been processed and is on its way. If you haven’t received these emails then please check you email junk and spam folders. Alternatively it is common to mistype an email address on the order form and so the email is never delivered.

If you have any concerns about your order then please get in touch through the contact page

Dichroic Glass

Dichroic (from Greek meaning two coloured) Glass is a specialist glass used in space, science, military and industrial applications.

NASA developed a process, now widely used, in which metals are vaporized by electron beams in a vacuum chamber and then applied directly to surfaces in an ultra-thin film. The vapor condenses in the form of crystal structures, and the process is repeated for up to several dozen coatings.

The result is a sheet of glass with an extremely thin metallic coating that changes colour as the angle of viewing changes.
